About

I'm a Computer Science student at Queen's University Belfast building a career where data, systems and the business meet: as a data analyst, business systems analyst, technical business analyst or technical project manager.

On placement at Collins Aerospace I translate between developers and the people who use internal systems: defining requirements, running user acceptance testing end to end, triaging defects and keeping progress visible in Jira dashboards.

I like finding the friction in a process, putting a number on it and fixing it — a Python tool that cut admin time by 40%, platform data that lifted engagement by 32%. Away from work I run IT for Queen's Business Society, represent 300+ students as a course rep, and enter hackathons.

    • Requirements & stakeholder liaison: the link between business units and software developers, defining clear requirements and technical specifications for internal web applications.
    • UAT & quality assurance: run structured end-to-end UAT cycles with Quality Specialists and senior stakeholders for a new internal application that digitises legacy Excel-based workflows; investigate discrepancies, triage defects and verify fixes.
    • Reporting & visibility: build and maintain real-time tracking dashboards in Jira using JQL, and produce Agile sprint reports so cross-functional teams can see progress at a glance.
    • Process mapping & documentation: map complex system processes to find bottlenecks, write technical documentation, and run market feedback analysis (MFA) to inform decisions.
